Coach Goodman grew up in Keller, TX and graduated from Fossil Ridge High School in 2009. He graduated from Tarleton State University in 2013 with a degree in Mathematics with Teacher's Certification.
After graduation, he started his coaching career at JJ Pearce High School and moved on to Colleyville Heritage High School, then to Braswell High School. After the 2021 season at Braswell High School, Coach Goodman went back to Colleyville Heritage High School where he served as the Associate Head Baseball Coach as well as being the program's pitching and catching coach.
This is Coach Goodman's fourth year as a McKinney Lion. Coach Goodman and his wife, Hannah, have been married for 10 years and have a three-year-old daughter, Cameron.
Coach Baumann is originally from Arlington, TX. He graduated from Arlington High School in 2016 and then attended Vernon Jr. College where he continued his baseball career for two years. Afterwards, he attended Texas Tech University where he received his bachelor's degree in Secondary Education.
Coach Baumann is in his fifth year at McKinney High School where he will coach JV Gold baseball, Freshman Football, and teach Geometry. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends, binge watching movies and TV shows, and watching sports.
Coach Nathan Bidelman is a Celina, Texas native and a 2009 graduate of Celina High School. He began his collegiate athletic career playing football at Midwestern State University before injuries and multiple surgeries ended his playing career. He transferred to Southern Nazarene University, where he played baseball while earning bachelor's degrees in Kinesiology and Psychology. His experiences as a multi-sport collegiate athlete have helped shape his passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
After graduating, he started his coaching career in Prosper until 2021 when he returned to Celina and helped lead them as varsity first assistant to their first state baseball tournament appearance in 20 years. He then went to Aubrey High School from 2022-2024 to spend more time at home with his daughters.
This is his third year as a McKinney Lion. Coach Bidelman and his wife, Abi, have been married for 10 years and have two daughters, Caroline and Nora.
Coach Petkoff grew up in Frankfort, Illinois, a suburb south of Chicago. He attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where he played Division 1 baseball and received his bachelor's degree in mathematics with a concentration in secondary education in December 2022.
He was an Algebra & Geometry teacher and Head Hitting Coach at Flour Bluff High School in Corpus Christi, TX from 2023-2024. He received his master's in educational administration through A&M-Corpus Christi in the summer of 2025.
This is Coach Petkoff's third year at McKinney High School where he will be a Varsity Assistant and the Head Freshman Football Coach.

Coach Sutton grew up in Fort Worth, TX and graduated from Western Hills High School in 2017. He graduated from Texas Wesleyan University in 2021 with a degree in mathematics and played wide receiver on the football team.
After graduation, he returned to his alma mater to give back to his community, where he has been for the past five years. At Western Hills, Coach Sutton was the Wide Receivers Coach and Head Softball Coach, while also teaching Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Geometry.
This is Coach Sutton's first year as a McKinney Lion.
